Christmas Cake season
Our Christmas Cake kits are now back in stock. Same price as last year - £8.50. We also offer a vegan alternative (this only takes 1hr to cook and is delicious, a great budget friendly option). If you have your own recipe you can bring down containers and a list and we can measure everything out for you. We also have vegetarian suet in stock for mincemeat and Christmas Pudding.
Opening hours
We are now opening 1 Sunday per month. Dates can be found on our pop-up for the rest of 2024. We still have late night opening on a Thursday till 7pm, and local deliveries every day after we close.
BDMLR work
We respond to occasional call outs for marine mammals that need checks and sometimes transport to a vet in and around Seaham. This may mean that we close unexpectedly. We will leave a mobile number on the door so you can check our return time. You can find out more about the work of BDMLR here, along with a 24hr hotline number to report marine mammals you are concerned about.
UK Mainland Online orders
We continue to send out items across the UK mainland. If you have any doubt as to whether the item is suitable for home delivery via Royal Mail then please contact us prior to placing the order. If it's not suitable you will receive a full refund, however our online payment processor will charge us fees on a full amount. We don't want to remove items as we can do our own local delivery and want to give you an idea of everything we stock!
Health & wellbeing items
You may have noticed a big increase in the number of products we offer online, such as the essential oils. We have been able to increase our range as one of our suppliers dispatches these direct from their Sheffield factory. All of these items are sustainably sourced and form part of an ethical supply chain. They do not sell directly to the public, only to small independent retailers such as us.
